Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Layer Weather you agree to these Terms with Monsoro. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Layer Weather provides weather-based outfit and packing recommendations for informational purposes. Forecasts and suggestions are not guaranteed accurate for your specific needs.

3. Account Registration

Provide accurate registration information, keep credentials secure, and take responsibility for activity under your account. You can register with email and a password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free includes the daily outfit, calibration, and Today for one city. That city may be your phone's location or one city you type. Layer Weather Pro adds additional saved and searched cities, radar, packing lists, and wardrobe presets, plus home-screen widgets. On iOS, Pro also includes Apple Watch and Live Activities.

Pro is a monthly plan and an annual plan. Before you buy, the app shows the price. That price, charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account, is the price that applies. This agreement does not set a price.

Eligible new subscribers may get a 14-day free trial on the monthly or annual plan. On Google Play the offer id is trial-14d. The app shows the exact offer before purchase.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The price and the billing period are the ones shown on the paywall before you confirm. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription during the trial.

On iOS, manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. On Android, manage or cancel in Google Play subscriptions. The paywall links to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy before you buy. On iOS the paywall also links to the EULA. RevenueCat processes subscription status.

Store purchases. Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases follow Apple's and Google's refund processes. We do not grant those refunds ourselves.

Web purchases. This version does not offer a website checkout. If a purchase is later offered on the website, you can cancel at any time and keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. We do not provide a prorated refund for the unused part of that period, except where the law requires one. A goodwill refund is at our discretion. Email support@monsoro.co.

5. Acceptable Use

Do not use the Service unlawfully, reverse-engineer the app, scrape data, disrupt the Service, or use automated account creation.

6. Intellectual Property

App design, illustrations, code, and algorithms are owned by Monsoro. You receive a limited personal, non-commercial licence to use the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY OF WEATHER DATA.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MONSORO, LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO AMOUNTS PAID IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS.

9. Termination

We may suspend accounts for Terms violations. You may delete your account in Settings. Surviving provisions include IP, disclaimers, and liability limits.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in York County, South Carolina.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are noted in the app or by email, and we update the effective date and the version at the top.
